Clearbeam announces the availability of its patented window treatment process for improving indoor 5G reception in glass buildings.
Glass buildings suffer from poor indoor 5G and cellular reception due to the low-E coating in the windows. The coating improves the window’s thermal efficiency for building heating and cooling, but blocks all radio waves, including 5G.
Clearbeam’s process is quick and easy to apply, lower cost than competing technologies, and windows retain 99% of their heat reflecting properties.

Clearbeam was selected as a finalist in Loudoun County’s 2021 Innovation Challenge for its novel approach to solving poor indoor cellular and 5G reception by treating the building’s windows with a laser.
Twelve finalists were selected from over 100 applicants for the 2021 event.
The annual competition, which awards a total of $150,000 in grants, is intended for local entrepreneurs seeking to take their business to the next level.
The four categories in 2021 were Tech Ventures, Commercial Ventures, Launch Focus and Smart County Focus, with three finalists in each.
Clearbeam entered in the Tech Ventures category and came in second.
